Snowy Pine Dog Training offers professional Dog Training and Behavior Modification, serving Plumas County, Portola, Graeagle, Quincy, Sierra Valley, Northern California, Reno, Sparks, Nevada, for dogs of all breeds and ages. Understand why your dog does the things that he or she does and eliminate undesirable behaviors and increase desired behaviors.
My training is based on Positive Reinforcement - rewarding good or desired behavior  and not rewarding or acknowledging bad behavior. When using positive reinforcement dog training you can use treats, toys, physical affection, verbal praise or a combination of any of those, to reward your dog for correct behavior. I also use some of Cesar Millian's (The Dog Whisperer) techniques and practices when dealing with behavioral or pack issues. Puppies and dogs will also be trained using Classical Conditioning (using a Clicker is an example of this type of training).
Private lessons are offered at our Snowy Pine Ranch located on  "C" Road near Graeagle, CA.  We located 7 miles west of Portola or 2 1/2 miles east of Graeagle, off Highway 70. In home lessons can be arranged for Eastern Plumas County-Quincy, Graeagle, Portola and Sierra Valley areas, contact me for more information.
I specialize in rescued/adopted dogs and large dogs but all dogs/puppies and breeds are welcome.
