The Most Titled and Highest Titled Saint Bernard in History with over 75 Breed First Titles.

He was the first only Saint Bernard to qualify and compete in the AKC National Agility Championship in 2014 (making it to the Challenger's Round) and also qualified and compete in 2015 & 2016. In 2012 Hummer became the first and only Saint Bernard to qualify and compete in both the AKC National Agility Invitational and AKC National Obedience Invitational in the same year. The SBCA National Achieves do not reflect his true accomplishments. Because he was a rescue, I never felt that the Saint Bernard Club of America gave him due recognition that he was deserving for his accomplishments in the performance events.

1st and only Saint Bernard to ever qualify for this event.

Perfect Standard run! We made it the Challenger's Round but missed a contact.

We were asked to participate in the Final's Demo Run.

Final Round-Demo

I decided 15 years ago to start training and competing with adopted rescued dogs. I find it to be a wonderful challenge to receive a dog that I know very little, if anything about- unknown breeding, health issues, temperament or intelligence. Most are adults and we have no way of knowing what these dogs have endured, how they were treated, trained (if any at all), illness, injuries, etc.  I have found that these rescued dogs try so hard to please their new owner and are truly grateful for a loving and caring home. There is an adjustment period and time is needed to rebuild the trust between the human and the rescued dog.

I have been so fortunate to have received 2 wonderful

Rescued Saint Bernards-Hummer & Tundra.

Hummer became the First Saint Bernard in history to qualify and attend the AKC National Agility Championship held in Harrisburg, PA and competing in the Challengers Round and performed a Demo run in the Finals Run. He also qualified and attended the 2012 AKC NATIONAL OBEDIENCE INVITATIONAL and was awarded Top Obedience Saint Bernard.

Hummer & Tundra both qualified and attended the 2012-2015 AKC NATIONAL AGILITY INVITATIONAL

 (Hummer also qualified for 2016 & 2017)

held in Orlando, FL. This was the first time Rescued Saint Bernards have ever qualified/attended the Invitational and Hummer is the first Saint Bernard to ever attend BOTH events.

Hummer was awarded Top Agility Saint Bernard  2012-2015 & AKC's 2011-2017 Top Saint Bernard.

SNOWY PINE'S HUMMER

Hummer's mother came from a puppy mill located in North Dakota that was closed down due to the

lack of shelter (no shelter in the middle of winter) and lack of proper care of their dogs.

The Saint Bernard Rescue Foundation  stepped in and took these dogs into their care.

Hummer was born in foster care. His mother had 7 puppies and weighed only 60 pounds,

she was a year and 1/2 old and this was her second litter.

Hummer has earned over 107 titles in Obedience, Agility, Rally, Carting, Barn Hunt, Trick Dog & CGC.  He was the top USA Performance Saint Bernard in obedience/agility for 2010 and Top Agility Saint for 2011-2017 and the only rescued saint ever to receive these honors. He became the first and only saint in history to qualify and compete in the AKC National Agility Championship and he did it 3 years in a row. Hummer is the highest & most titled Saint Bernard in history.

 SNOWY PINE'S TUNDRA

Tundra was rescued by the Foundation after being turned into the animal shelter with her mother to be euthanized.  The owner was unable to confine the dogs and they wandered the streets in Oregon.  Tundra was kept in a crate next to the euthanasia room at the shelter for a month and had never been separated from her mother until now. The Saint Bernard Foundation  rescued both Tundra and her mother. I received Tundra the next day at the age of 8 months and over 100 pounds.  She was a handful!  She has earned 36 Obedience/Rally/Agility, Draft Dog. She was the first dog (all breeds) to earn the DDX Title and the only Saint to have earned the DDX2  (with a Cart and Travois). Tundra is the most titled female Saint and the #2 most titled Saint in history.
