Specialized Training 

Training Sessions have resumed, please check for available times.
Private Training and Phone Consultations sessions are available. Training dates will vary during the spring & summer due to my show schedule-so check booking calendar for available training times. I am available most Sundays & Tuesdays from 9:30 am - 3:00 pm. I only accept online booking sessions/prepaid and scheduled.

Please note that a do not give training advice over the phone unless you have paid for a phone consultation.
A phone consultation is advised if you have issues that you would to discuss with the trainer.

Specialized Training

Prerequisite for all Specialized Training 

Dogs must know the following commands (either by voice, hand signals or both):

Sit, Down, Heel on loose leash, Wait or Stay, Come.  Dogs must also have social skills with people and other dogs. 

If  your  dog needs work with "social skills" you may need to have some problem solving sessions first.

Beginning Agility (will be offered in the spring as weather permits)

​Introduction to the sport of agility. Learning how to safely execute various types of agility equipment.

Basic handling skills and class descriptions.

Intermediate/Advanced Agility (will be offered in the spring as weather permits)

​More advanced handling skills and course running for teams preparing for competition.

 

Intermediate/Advanced Competition Training

All Levels of  Obedience (Novice-Utility)  and Rally (Novice-Masters).

Carting/Draft Dog/Sledding    Cart, Wagon, Travois or Sled, Single or Team

​Introduction to the sport of Draft Work. Learning how to safely execute draft skills and equipment.

Basic handling skills and class descriptions.

Scenting/Nose Work

​Introduction to the sport of Nose Work.  Basic handling skills and class descriptions.

Various scents and locations will be taught,

Swimming/Water Retrieving  Summer Months

​Introduction to swimming and water retrieving.

In ground swimming pool will be used.
